    Hi -

Is it possible to have a shortcut to Internet Explorer within Firefox - i.e., on a toolbar?

    Thanks!

Probably not a shortcut to launch IE to its home page, but there is an extension named IE View that lets you launch a URL in IE. Would that do what you need? See IE View @ Add-ons for Firefox. I haven't tried it myself.

IE View works very well. You can also right click on a bookmark and choose always open in IE. I use this for a couple of bookmarks, including WS Lounge. I use Last Pass password manager and for some reason does not sign onto the Lounge in FF, go figure!

My very limited experience with IE view is that it took a long time for a site to open in IE from Firefox. No time seems to have been gained by installing it.

I do thank you both for your suggestion and comment.

Whenever I use IE View, the IE window opens almost immediately. I could not hazzard a guess why your takes so much time.
