Reload Office 97 after Office 2000 Install (2000 ver 9.0.2720)
I recently installed Office 2000 on my PC running Win 98SE and I meant to keep Office 97 but something went wrong <img src=/S/doh.gif border=0 alt=doh width=15 height=15>and Office 97 was removed. Does anyone know of any problems with reinstalling Office 97? I only really need Access 97 as I use several databases that I believe may have problems if they are converted to Access 2000?

If you aren't planning to use Access2000, you can uninstall it (from Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office 2000...) and install Access97 instead (choose Custom installation and uncheck everything except Access97). If it's not an option, install Access97 in different folder (say, Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeAccess97). Sometimes it's possible to have problems when running two different versions of Access on the same machine, but I encountered none so far.
