    I get annoyed by Windows 7 changing its own folder name Documents to My Documents in folder lists, yet it shows as Documents in the path name. I realise that there is a potential conflict between the user's Documents folder and Documents library, but I would prefer to resolve this by removing or renaming the library, and having the folder display as Documents in the list, since that is what it is called.

    Is there any fix for this?

    Hi John, and welcome to the Lounge!

    Why not just go into your user profile and change the name of My Documents folder to Documents? Then the My Documents under the Documents library will automatically change to just Documents as well.
