Windows 7 will not allow me to open files contained on my old hard drive. This is installed on my new computor as D Drive. I can see them, but when I try to open them windows tells me that I must be the administrator. I am operating this computer as the administrator and cannot get anywhere. Any ideas?

You probably need to take ownership of the drive. See Windows 7 Take Ownership & Grant Permissions to Access Files & Folder for instructions.
