My laptop and my applications keep failing in various ways and I'm about to do a clean re-install of the Vista Home Premium OS. I've noticed ads for an online service called Reimage so tried the free scan they provide and it came up with a number of problems on my laptop. I'm considering paying for a 1-time service to see if that can fix my problems. There is a $20 discount that expires today, 4/3/10 so I need to decide quickly!

I would love to hear from anyone who has used this service.

    Thanks,
    Bill

The reimage site has a very poor reputation with Web Of Trust. I would stay far away from it.

Some of those bad comments on Web of Trust look very questionable to me so I went ahead and used Reimage and it seems to have done a good job. Afterwards I ran an antivirus/antispyware scan with Viper and it did not find any problems. So far, I'm happy with the result.

The scan that Reimage did did list several areas that needed to be fixed. I don't remember exactly what they were. The laptop seems to be working much better than it was before I did the reimage.
