    Access Report (97SR2)

I have a form letter to clients which has a paragraph that contains one sentence in the middle of the paragraph that has to be bold. Is there any way to do this within the text box?

    Any help is greatly appreciated! <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

If it's static text (i.e. the bold stuff is always exactly the same position on the line), you could do it by having the bold in a separate text box, pushed up against the regular text so it looks like uninterrupted text. I've done that when I needed to put greek characters (out of the symbol font) in normal text.

I had thought of your suggestion, just hoped it could be done some other way. I have done that in other parts of this report, but this one paragraph has the bold text smack in the middle of it. I also have a problem with the printer not quite printing where it looks like it is in design view or in preview. Thanks.

You could spend some money on the problem and use a custom text box. Have heard they can be stubborn in Access, but they will get the job done.
