I am running winxp-home with sp-3 service pack.-IE-6 os. Iam getting an error code ox8002801c. error say the following---dll register server in Shdocvw.dll failed. I am not a computer tech. how do I take care of this?

Not seen this error before but short of trying to (re)register this DLL to see if it fixes the problem, you may as well upgrade to IE8 and gain from the added security, speed and support (IE support goes end of life this summer!)

thanks scott for the info. today I upgraded to IE-8 and that took care of the problem.
