    Hearts under NT

I recently changed from Win95 to WinNT, I copied Hearts across into the NT System32 folder where the other games are stored, but when I try to run it I get an error messages: "Can't run 16-bit Windows program", and " This application is not supported by Microsoft Windows NT." Can anyone help?

It means what it says. There are some 16-bit apps that will run in NT, but apparently Hearts isn't one of them. I heard of a workaround a long time ago, but didn't pay attention at the time, unfortunately. Your best bet is to invest in a new version of hearts.

That might be a difficult business case to put to management.

Then you're stuck with paying the $30 yourself for the MS Entertainment Pack or settling for freecell, I guess.
