Save my Settings Wizard (Office XP)
When this tool is talking about saving your customizations, does it save your Normal.dot settings or just your options?
We're going to be upgrading our whole office to Windows 2000 and Office XP and I have recommended several changes to customize Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint. Apparently our IT staff have not had to do this before because they're looking to me to tell them how to change these settings. Some of them are to the Normal.dot file in Word, but most are to Options.
I was reading about this utility and it sounded like I could set my machine up the way I want it, save my settings with the wizard, and use that file to set everyone else's.
Any recommendations on how we SHOULD be doing this? Don't get too technical on me, I'm really more of an advanced end user than a tech.
THANK YOU FOR ANYTHING!
