If your having trouble with sounds read this! (Power Point 2000)

Through research I discovered why my sounds wanted to link to my computer files. You need to set your sound files to only link if they are larger than 50000KB. How do you do that? Open up Power Point,
Click on Tools--->Options--->General Tab--->half way down you will see where it gives you the option to change " Link sound files greater than 50kb. Change that number to 50000 and your file should embed. Remember this will make the file very large, but you will have the whole thing now. With the abillity to burn your presentation onto a disk you should be able to have any size presentation with in reason. I hope I helped somebody out there because I was stumped for a while. <img src=/S/bravo.gif border=0 alt=bravo width=16 height=30> See attached pic if your confused.

That's great research - thanks for pointing that out. I took the liberty of bringing your useful screenshot down in size.
