    Vista Home 64bit; Outlook 2007.

Yesterday I happened to be on the PC when a message arrived. Its arrival resulted in an icon in the system tray. A transient information bubble appeared attached to the icon that said something along the lines of "your email client cant receive HTML". That incoming message certainly was in plain text, but I do receive others fully formatted. I cant find any reference in Outlook help settings for formats of incoming mail.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

    Mike C

May have been malformed HTML or malformed mail. Ask the sender to send a test message in both plain and HTML.

    cheers, Paul

    Thanks for your reply Paul,

I sort of thought that this would be a routine response to some circumstance that I hadnt met before. I will indeed see if I can pick up the message and follow up with the sender
