    Is there any way to override the attached error when importing data into Access from Excel , as l would like to automate the process?

    See attached for error and test data

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Can you tell us about the table you were trying to import into? What is its key field?
    The error message actually says that 0 records were lost of deleted. Is that what always happens or is there sometimes a number greater than 0 in the message? If there is can you see any pattern in the records that are not imported.

    PS In your two recent posts Go to certain field and Help with join you have not responded to the offers of help. People become reluctant to offer help if there is no response when they do.
