In Outlook 2007 someone has shared their mailbox with me.

Ive set it up using outlook delegates and network exchange permissons.

I can view/access their Inbox, sent etc

    They have a contacts list.

From my email - inbox I want to type an email on their behalf, and access their contacts list. It only displays my contact list.
At the moment Im having to physically get out of the email, goto their contacts and copy and paste the clients email address.

This isnt a very streamlined workflow.

Of course once I type in the contacts email, it remains in the list.

From my email - is there an easy way for me to directly access their contacts-clients list?

    many thanks

Unfortunately, not that I know of. As I understand it, that list of contacts is stored in a file on the person's computer, and not as a part of the shared contacts.

The only option we have discovered is to initiate the email from the Contacts folder rather than starting a new email and using the address book. You can highlight the contact(s) in a shared contacts folder, then choose from the menu: Actions > Create > New Message to Contact.
