I created an xls file and sent it to a vendor for them to fill in some information. When I received it back and opened it on Excel 2007, I see the message that "automatic update of links has been disabled", which I did not see before I sent it. What type of links does it refer to, and how can I find out where they are located on this 16 sheet spreadsheet.

    Thanks

If you go to the DATA Tab and then find EDIT LINKS, you should be able to see where the links are to, if they are file links.
Although it does not tell you which cells

Also go to Excel Options Advanced Tab and have a look in the Workbook section

    OK thanks for the help.

I was able to figure out what had happened after some searching. But isn't there any way to have Excel give me more information, like which sheet the links are located on?
