Ghost accounts in Thunderbird

A friend has T-Bird as his email client and he had a bunch of accounts (8).

He deleted them from his account list and updated to
his new ISP, now he only has 4.

But when you open a new message and go to change
which account to send it on.... he gets all his new ones
along with all the old ones still being listed.

So how do you get rid of those old addresses?

Old ISP out of business.... deleted them from Account Settings in T-Bird.

Check the "server" settings in TB - at the bottom of the account list.
