I had to uninstall Microsoft Office 2007 Professional (following suggestions) and after I did that and restarted, I got the disgusting 'Blue Screen of Death'. I restarted again and it started OK then, but with this error message. Is this something I need to be highly concerned about?

If the system seems to be working properly, then probably not. I would keep watch in case something else is amiss, but for now just monitor. Windows does have the ability to fix itself, an ability that seems to improve with each version of windows. Good luck!
