A user of my database would like to run it on his new MacBook Pro. Using Parallels we got the application up an running fairly easily. Ran into one problem, his computer does not have or seem to support the NumLock. Thedb application has a number of keyboard short-cuts using NumLock On. Is there a way in vba to determine whether the computer on which the app is running is a PC or Mac? The goal would be to use this information to set up alternate short cuts for the Mac.

    Thanks,
    Marty

It may be possible to use Environ()

    Possibly:
    Code:
    If Environ("OS") = "Windows_NT" then
     Do Windows Stuff
    Else
     Do Mac stuff
    End If

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
