I am looking for more security at hotspots with my new Win7 64 bit notebook. I was thinking of Hotspot Shield, but, not everyone recommends it. Here is a quote from Cnet;
"Overall, we can't give Hotspot Shield a strong recommendation, but as a last resort it might be worth trying out."
The Hotspot Shield web site indicates a home page add, and scroll bar add at the top of every page viewed. I have NO EXPERIENCE at all with tunneling applications. Do any of you have any favorable/disfavorable comments???
Also I read an article hinting that Tor is an alternative to Hotspot Shield. Is this true??? Does Tor provide tunneling protection at hotspots??? Is it a better selection???
Since I have no experience at all in this area, I would appreciate comments from anyone.
