I have just setup Microsoft's Outlook 2002, I also have Mozilla Thunderbird. I would like to use Outlook as the default email client. I'm going to keep both programs with TB as the backup. I've also switched to Firefox as my default browser, I got tired of the 'can't find web page' message.

How, should I make Outlook the default email client?

The easiest place is the Internet Options control panel, Programs tab.

Which version of Windows are you running now?

I'm still using Windows 7, 64-bit. I used your tip and Outlook is now set as the default email client.
