    Dear Loungers,

Access 2007 has the Split Form feature, this might be useful in some situations. BUT having creating a split form, if you subsequently change the Access Setting for the format of a Datasheet that part of a split form does not reflect the new settings. A newly created split form does. perhaps I'm going blind but I can't see on an existing form properies where I could update it to say use default settings. Any Ideas?

    thank you....................... liz

I think your assessment of the situation is quite accurate.

I don't find the Split Forms in Access 2007 the slightest bit attractive. I never use any datasheet forms, and Split Forms only provide them. But it seems the datasheet part of a split form is a hidden form you can't access in Design View.
If I want a split form, I build a continuous form, then put a linked subform in the form header.
    Regards
    John
