    My DELL laptop is a no CD computer ( hidden Restore XP Pro partition ) My problem is I can not restore it to the originarl factory state.
    A message said it can not find a certain file, I forget the name. I tryed again and it wouldn't even try to restor to factory state. I need help!

    Because of it's age, the HD may be dying. If this is the case you probably will not be able to restore the HD. Check the Dell site and look for a support section for your model. See if they have any suggestions for using the restore partition. This may be a lost cause as well, but worth trying.
