Whenever I received an email from a new sender, Outlook automatically adds the address to the address book. I don't prefer to have every sender's address in my address book. How do I turn off this function?

    Thanks.

In my case, various addresses get added to the To/CC/BCC autocomplete list (nicknames file), but they are not automatically added to my Contacts folder or any of my other address books.

If you are getting new records in your Contacts folder, or new records in your Personal Address Book, then there could be an add-in causing that. (Outlook 2003 isn't supposed to be able to do it natively: Add addresses automatically to Outlook Contacts.)
