    Very small help (Access2000)

Does any body see anything wrong with this:
CANCELLED: IIf(Is Not Null ([amendnum]) Or [cancel],"X","")

It is a query column that is supposed to display X, when [amendnum] feild isn't empty or [cancel] feild is true (ticked).

    Thanx...

    >>CANCELLED: IIf(Is Not Null ([amendnum]) Or [cancel],"X","")<<

I would write it this way:

    Cancelled: IIf(not isnull(amendnum) OR Cancel=True, "X", "")

This is an append query, the result of this feild is stored in a yes/no feild. its not working with the table.

    any suggestions?

You can't store an X in a yes/no field, only a true or false (or a null if you are allowing that).
