I've recently installed Access 2007 and am using it to open an app that I created in 2003. Every time I open the app I get a security warning and have to click on Options and then Enable Security. Also, sometimes I get a notice that my certificate is out of date and I need a new one. It's been so long that I've forgotten everything I know about certificates, etc. How do get the darn thing returned to normal operations?

The first thing to do is create a Trusted Location for the folder that holds your database

    Office button...Access Options..Trust Centre..Trust Centre Settings...Trusted Locations..Add New Location

Thanks, that worked. The next thing I notieced was that rolling the mouse wheel no longer goes from record to record as it did in Access 2003. Is there another setting for this?

Have a look at this article by Allen Browne.

While you are at it, this page also by Allen Browne is worth reading.
