One of the most useful add-ins for Excel is the delete links wizard.

Having been written for Excel 97, I was concerned that it would not work under 2007. It does work but only on xls files not xlsx files.

Does anyone know of an updated version?

Is it just that it doesn't list 2007 files in the Select Files dialog?

    Thanks for the replies.

After following the HP example, it would appear that this is now included in the main body of Excel. An additional benefit is that the Office Button → Prepare → Edit Links to files option only appears when there is an external link.

    Thanks for the tip
