Shorten 'work Offline' Timeout (IE6)
I'm using IE6 with a newly established DSL account. Things move along pretty quickly, but occasionally, when I click a link, the globe spins for about 30 seconds, then I am asked if I want to work offline or try again. In such cases, clicking try again always IMMEDIATELY responds by going to the link I chose in first place.
If I'm doing some serious browsing, clicking all kinds of links (versus loitering and reading), this happens about every five minutes.
Is it possible to decrease the time-out period that IE6 waits before prompting "work offline or try again"? If so, how?
Thanks, in advance!
(I know, I know, I should really hammer my DSL provider on this instead, but in the meantime, my work-around instincts tell me this might be worth trying).

Re: Shorten 'work Offline' Timeout (IE6)
I'm guessing that the web site couldn't handle the request at the moment it was received. You could hit Esc after 10 seconds and try again. Like in the old days before hi-band connections. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
