Simplified, With the Windows upgrade disc you simple install then install the upgrade again and activate. The newsletter gives full details.

Can anyone advise if it is possible to do a fresh install with Adobe CS 5 upgrade media or older CS products without having an older version installed, as you can with a Windows Vista or Windows 7 upgrade disc?

Madturtle, Welcome to the Lounge. Please stop back often.

I doubt it. This is something MS built into Windows in Vista and has carried over into Win 7. It is not a well publish feature by MS, but has been well documented by others. I would suspect that Adobe has not done similar things with Photoshop.
