    Hi,

I am trying to do conditional formating, it seems very simple and I have tried a number of different things based on what I have read, all without success, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Note, these conditional formats are being applied to a pivot table

1st requirement - I want to turn the Cell green if it has GREEN or (blank) in it, seems simple enough
2nd requirement - I want to turn a cell RED if the another cells date is less than TODAY

    Thanks

    Mike

You need to use the Formula Is version of the Conditional Formatting.

    See Example

    Thanks

I have a question, these formulas are in Pivot tab so can I do it with cell references as I want to apply it to columns in the table.

    Regards

    Mike
