    Multiple Partitions

I have three primary partitions and one common logical drive on a 30GB FAT32 disk. PQBoot is used to attach the common drive to one Primary at a time, for different versions of Win 2000 & 98.

This worked fine under Win98, but now I have upgraded to Win 2000, My Comuter and the Disk Management Console can see not only the partition booted from but also the other two Hidden primaries. Manually hiding the unwanted drives with TweakUI is a pain.

Can I stop Win2000 from seeing hidden partitions in My Computer ??

Unfortunately, the only way to do this - upgrade to newer version of Partition Magic (PQBoot.) The current version is 7.

    Re: Multiple Partitions

For the benefit of others who may read this, I actually found the answer. I had created the kultiple partitions by copying the first on on which Win 2k was installed. This meant that each copy partition had a BOOT.INI file pointing to the first partition. editing the BOOT.ini Files manually, solved the phantom drives.
