    ActiveX component can't create object.

Can anyone tell me what this message means and if / how I can fix it? The problem ails my computer at work, which runs Windows 95 and Office 97. More specifically, the message appears in Access when I try to use any of the Wizards. Actually, it may even affect Wizards in other programs. I don't know because I have only every used Wizards in Access. I have tried re-installing Access with no success. I know nothing about ActiveX controls so any information would be greatly appreciated.

There are good chances you have a corrupt registry entry.

Try to apply the fixes from this article:

Thank you so much. It was a corrupt registry entry. I just tried one of the resolution methods outlined in the article you suggested and the problem seems to be fixed. Thank you for taking the time.
    Cheers!
