    My wife runs a consulting business out of our home, which survives on e-mail accessibility.
    She has used a service for many years, but it's not particularly user friendly, with a poor interface. She already has .com domain.

    Any recommendations for reliable paid webmail services?

    Does she like GMail? The Google Apps platform maps your existing domain to Google services. There are a number of options for moving the email, but I'm not sure any of them will work in this case: Email migration options.
