    Hi, so in Vista, not necessarily related, when windows explorer is open with the left side showing the folders and the right showing the content, when I click any content on the right, the left pane disappears!. The only way to drop and drag files is to open up 2 explorer windows. Short of re-installing vista, is there an anwser I'm missing? Thanks for the help.

    With Explorer open, go to "Organize,Layout" and then select Navigation Pane.
    This then should keep it on at all times.

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
