I have just installed MS Office Word 2007. I am finding that Spell Check is checking every English word and showing a recommended change to a foreign language word - possibly Spanish. How do I change this back to the previous English in my old Office Word 2000 Spell Check? I will appreciate any information.

Each character in a document can be assigned a language, and this provides cues to the spell check dictionary. If you select all (Ctrl+A) and then, um, I'm not sure where "Set Language" is on the ribbon. In the old days it was under Tools > Language > Set Language. To navigate the invisible Word 2003 menus to that dialog, you could press Alt+t and then press L twice.

In Word 2007, you can make Language dialog appear via: Review tab > in the Proofing group, click on Set Language.
