    Hi,
I have a NIC PC card plugged into my laptop for internet access. For the longest time the 'Safely Remove' icon was resident in my system tray and I have successfull used it many times. Today, I plugged a USB drive in to my system to store some files and free up some HDD space. When finished, I looked for that icon in order to safely remove the USB drive and was surprised to see it wasn't there. I checked all the 'places' I could think of to get this restored, but could not find a solution. I'm 73 years old and my mind isn't what it used to be, so I need help. How do I restore the 'Safely Remove' device dialog? Thank you for your every consideration.

    Hi JB,
Wow! That was a lightning reply. Thank you very much. I made the shortcut that was recommended by 'Leo' and I'm anxious to try it, but it's passed my bed time and I'll be sure to use it tomorrow. Thank you.
