    open another database (Access 2000)

    i want to close the current database where i am workint i it, called DB1 and simultaneously
    open another database called DB2,situated in "C/BE.
    How can i do it?

    Use the Shell command to open the other database and follow that line of code with an Application.Quit to close the current database. You'll have to pass the Shell command a string that includes the path to the Access executable as well as the path to the target database. Try a Lounge Search on shell for other threads that might contains some useful information on using Shell.
