I have created a simple MS Access application and encrypted it with a password. However, after splitting the database into backend and frontend (queries, forms, etc.) the backend is no longer encrypted. I would like to know how I can get both encrypted. If I encrypt the backend, even with the same password, I can no longer use the frontend to access the data in the backend.

    Thanks

Have you deleted all the linked tables from the front end, then relinked afresh using the encrypted back end?

Would you mind telling me the process in details? Should I encrypt the file before splitting the database?
