My power option is not working and after looking at various threads I think this may be the culprit. Can I disable it without any problems? I'm using an nVidia graphics card.

Based on NVIDIA nTune - nTuneCmd.exe - Program Information it appears you can disable this unless you use it to tweak motherboard settings.

It appears that this is a Nvidia MB tuning app, that some use as a method to overclock a cpu. This does not appear to be a necessary app. There is a possibility a virus can hide as this app. It should ok to disable it.
