TaskPad (Outlook 97 on Win NT)

I have Outlook 97 running on Windows NT

    1. I want Outlook to open in Calendar view.
    2. I want my TaskPad to show only uncompleted tasks that have already reached their start date.
    How do I arrange this?
Now it shows completed tasks and all future tasks even though there start date may not be for 5 years.

For Number 1: In outlook, go to TOOLS on the menu, slide down to OPTIONS - in the options window, choose the OTHER tab, and on that tab choose ADVANCED OPTIONS. In the top of that, where it says "startup in this folder", chose CALENDAR from the drop-down list.

The Taskpad options are part of the views. Either choose a different view from the View menu while in Taskpad, or choose Customize Current View and make all the rules needed for what you want to see.

    Thanks that helped.
Mine does not have an "OTHER" tab, but I found it on the "GENERAL" TAB.

I have made a couple of unsuccesful stabs at creating a view. But I have not figured out how to show only tasks which have a start date equal to or less than the current date.
