I am running Win7 Home Premium. Just recently and for reasons I can't understand, when I right click anywhere (on a file or on the desktop) the context menu is very slow to open (about 20 seconds). Using ShellExView I disabled the right-click context menu handlers for the three most recent programs I installed, but the problem continues. Any suggestions out there?

I cant cure your problem, but when I installed ShellExView I had nothing but grief with menus and the system in general. I uninstalled and then had to revert to an earlier backup to get my system back to normal.I have friends who have installed this with out problems so I have no Idea why it works for some and not others. I am using win7 pro.

    Cool

Later. I finally figured it out using ShellExView. One particular context menu handler (RebitShellExt.ContextMenuExtension) was causing the problem.
