    After creating a pivot table, can you alter the pivot table only to show the totals hiding the details? Attachment for consideration.

    Surely if you just remove the TITLE field from the PIVOT Table it is just the totals by State, so have just one or TWO Pivot Tables

    OR If you have to keep the Title column and assuming Excel 2003 (slightly different in 2007/2010)
    Right Click Field with detail and Choose

    Group And Show Detail => Hide Detail

    AKW beat me to it !!!

    As AKW points out the Titles can be left in - You can then make different analyses by clicking the down arrow in Title.

    Attached are some samples.

    Also formatted all numbers to show comma, 2 decimals.
