Is there any way to show toolbar icons in Windows Explorer in Windows 7? These were easily configurable; the default icons were Back, Forward, Up, etc.

    Thanks!

No, those features have been removed from windows 7 explorer. It's lack thereof is/has been an ongoing
bit of contention in Windows 7 explorer.

Anyone know of a 3rd-party program that functions similarly to Windows Explorer, including the configurable menus and icons available in Win XP?

Some file managers mentioned in another post included CubicExplorer and FrreCommander.

I installed Classic Shell (http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/), which solved the problem very nicely.
