    Keyboard programs (Word2000 SR1)

One of my users somehow programmed his keyboard by mistake. This happens only in Word. When he hits shift+3 he gets a $ sign. shift+4 also results in the dollar sign (which is correct). All of the other keys are correct. What could he have done to the 3???

How exactly he did this, I don't know. To my knowledge, you have to kind of know what you're doing to reprogram a key, but I could be wrong. You can set him back to the defaults by going into Tools-Customize, then click on Keyboard... Press the Reset All... button. The only way I could press Reset All... was to add a new programmed key, then the Reset All... button became free. It may let you press it right off the bat, though.

    Hope this helps
