Does anyone know of a reliable, free remote computer access system, like Go To My PC? I was using Windows Live Mesh but now I have a Windows 7 Laptop at home and it uses Live Sync, which isn't compatible with my work PC which is running Windows XP. This isn't something that I use all the time, 2-3 times per month, maybe, so it isn't worth paying for. Generally I just need to log on to access a file, occasionaly I will print something from home. Does anyone know of a system that will work for this? Thanks.

If you have the right level of software (viz. Professional or above) on the PC you want to access, then you could use Microsoft's Remote Desktop (with a bit of fiddling about and very preferably having set up a VPN connection)...
