If have the following formula, which gives me a value #N/A

    =IF(A61=(RIGHT(A61,50)),VLOOKUP(MID(A61,4,50),Shee t1!$L$1512:$DL$1783,105,FALSE))

The text in A61 is 61. Bank Charges

If a delete Mid after Vlookup to "Bank Charges", then I get the correct answer

I need a formula that will strip/remove the leading spaces from the text from the Mid part of the formula that appears after the lookup

Your asistance will be most appreciated

    Did you try "Trim"?
    =IF(A61=(RIGHT(A61,50)),VLOOKUP(TRIM(MID(A61,4,50) ),Sheet1!$L$1512:$DL$1783,105,FALSE))
