Is it possible to connect a laptop to a PC by USB cable as a form of networking (I know I can use a router or crossover cable).
    Will either machine be damaged?
Can you do with A-A cable?
It would be a simple solution, if it is possible.

In a word, no. USB is for connecting peripherals, not other PCs.

What are you trying to achieve?

    cheers, Paul

Its not possible to connect your Laptop with your PC because it may damage your system.
