    Hi,

I am trying to backup my data using the Vista Backup tool. It currently fails after about 10 or 15 minuts with a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). Is there anywhere I can locate a log file to find out what it was doing when it failed?

    Thanks,
    AJ

Check the event viewer; Start, Run, and type eventvwr.
    Look under administrative events.

    AJ,
Hello, If you want there is a good free "backup" \ "Imaging" program http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp It will do what you want ...even better than "Windows" Regards Fred
