    Hi gang,
    I want to generate a table of content for paragraphs of levels 1 and 9 not the others.
    I tried TOC \o "1-1" "9-9" \z \u but I only get level 1. It's not giving me level 9.
    Tks.

    You will probably need to explicitly choose styles that use those levels
    {TOC \t "Heading 1,1,Heading 9,2"}

    The only easy solution is to create 2 TOCs, one comprising Heading 1s and the other Heading 9s.

    That won't give the desired result if the heading levels are intermixed. Two separate TOCs would give the document two separated lists (instead of an interleaved one) and the page numbers would restart for the second list.

    The user could also use a mixture of outline levels and styles in the toc
    {TOC \o "1-1" \t "Heading 9,2"}

    If that isn't satisfactory, you could use find and replace to make all Heading 9s into Heading 2s and vice versa.

    Then swap the Heading and TOC styles so that H9/TOC9 looks like H2/TOC2 and vice versa.

    Finally create your TOC use Heading 1 and 2.
