I am using Windows 7. I have been unable to get shortcut keys (ctrl-alt-otherkey) to work.
I have one shortcut to a program, and the shortcut key works fine for that.

But I also have a bunch of files (for MS Works) that I use frequently. Right now, I have a desktop folder with shortcuts to each of those files.. But when I create a shortcut key combination to one of these shortcuts, it works the first time but not after that.

    Any suggestions?

Iím also wondering if a program like autohotkeys would be a good alternative? Does it work with Windows 7? When I used XP, there was a program called WINKEY that worked perfectly, but I canít find a W7 version.

    Suggestions?

Yes,AHK 1.0.47.06 will work fine with Windows 7. For your short cuts not working all the time.I would go back over the changes to see if things are the way you think.Good Luck

Thanks. I'll look at the other thread.

I did d/l AHK and it works great, doing exactly what I need.
