Using a table I have made a form with form fields in a cell. I have limited the text to 5 characters. Once data is entered I dont want the user to be able to enlarge the cell by pressing the enter key. If they do the whole form is thrown out and goes over to another page.

    How can I do this?

The form controls in Word 97-2003 do not have a mechanism to prevent use of Enter. However, you can fix the height of the table row (use Table > Properties > Row) so that if users do press Enter, the row cannot expand vertically.
