    Misinstallation of file

My mouse wouldn't work, so I tried to install a new driver through the wizard. After trying several from the list, I decided to look in the Win 98 CD. I located something that looked like it might be a driver (I think it was tmouse, but am not sure). When selected, Windows warned me that it didn't appear to be the right move. Of, course, Windows won. Now I can only use Safe Mode! I keep getting an error message about an improper function call when booting up. If anyone can give me a pointer out of this mess, this time I'll listen!!!

The first port of call if the mouse is playing up is the web site for the manufacturer. Download a new set of drivers and install them. That should fix the problem, but come back if it doesn't. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
